the night before last there was a horrible storm in Lubbock. i had to spend the worst of it inside of my friend’s car. at one point we were trying to find her cousins house and all of the street lights sparked and went out. visibility was so low all we could see was the debris blowing onto the road in the the beam of the headlights. the time it took us to run from her car to the front door of the house we were soaked and freezing because of the rain and hail. it was my deciding factor - i am not going to live in west texas.
